Trainings are offered to Care Providers and educational services. The following are the core trainings that I offer:

• Developmental Play

Connecting with ‘Play,’ What is Play? and how does this fit into child development? What are the barriers to the child’s development? considering how we can use play as a tool to support the child at their development level, enabling them to gain the skills that they require at this level, before progressing.

• Sensory Play

Connecting with the sensory needs of the children that we support, and how we can further support them within play

• Attachment and Child Development

• Resilience, Wellbeing and PLACE (Playful, Loving, Accepting, Curious, Empathy)

Developing an approach to working with a child who have been affected by adverse childhood experiences. This course not only reflects on the needs of the child, and gets us to consider the responses that they require, but also reflecting on our own needs and the importance of taking care of ourselves within this relationship (and outside of this too).
